On Sunday night when you asked us to come forward to pray for each other, the Lord gave me the word “tuned-out” and I believe he was encouraging us all to tune back in. I should have come forward but others needed prayer.
We tune-out because of interference, or we move into an area of poor reception or our batteries are dead. When we tune out we lose direction, affirmation, encouragement, our truth antenna, guidance, correction, our moral compass, strength and our ability to operate in the gifts.
In order to tune-in we need to ask for the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13) and be continually filled (Eph 5:18) – which is a big challenge.
