I dub thee Dorjay…….Nima

prophetic_word [from G]

I was given the Tibetan name Dorjay, which means thunderbolt (or indomitable), in recognition of my calling as a mouthpiece and warrior.

In Tibetan culture Dorjay (or Dorje) conceptually represents firmness of spirit and spiritual power. It is symbolised as a sceptre which is used as a weapon and ritual tool (to reveal “truth”) in Tibetan Buddhism

dorjay A Dorjay or Sceptre

In my case, it was considered to be a re-contexualized term and a conceptual symbol of my calling.

Later my Tibetan teacher added the name Nima, which means sun, because she thought I had a sunny disposition

Names mean something in most cultures. Dorjay refers to my calling and Nima to my disposition

I continued a tradition of hosting prayer for High Asia on Monday and we did pray that doors and windows would open
